Dehumidefiance, This old thing? January.

Three poems of mine, recently shared on social media. Two began with staring up and into the sky, either directly or through a window. The other from reading Robert Hass ‘A little book on form‘, which explores ‘the formal imagination in poetry’: chapter by chapter addressing the simplest forms and becoming more complex – ie Chapter One = One Line Poetry, Two = Two lines, couplets etc… I was also listening to a dehumidifier chugging away as some washing dried. I’ll let you work out which inspirational trigger goes with which…
